Green-tech launches Hedera 'green screens'

Green-tech has launched a new 1.8m living fence, consisting of a metal grid covered in plants.

The grid is folded at the bottom to accommodate eight pots holding Hedera helix 'Woerner' ivy plants. The plants are grown independently of the screen and woven up through the metal grid in order to achieve full foliage coverage once grown.

Hedera helix 'Woerner' is a particularly reliable climber and is known to be especially frost resistant. It is ideal to act as an outdoor privacy screen to hide unsightly areas, as security fencing, balcony screens or to break up and add interest to an outside space.

Biodiversity can be added to the gt Hedera Green Screens with the addition of climbers such as clematis, to give more impact and colour. The screens cost £110 including delivery.

Green-tech sales director Ian Rotherham commented: "This is an own-brand product from Green-tech which has been launched as a result of many requests from customers. We have already seen enquiries flooding in after just a soft marketing launch. I think the product and the pricing, plus free delivery are really appealing to the market."
