Grasshopper attachments

Increasing the versatility of Grasshopper zero-turn mowers, Ruston's Engineering (RECO) is now distributing a range of attachments - including leaf blowers, sweepers, turf edgers and aerators - that can be interchanged with the cutting deck.

Suited to series 700 and 800, the leaf blower is PTO-driven to produce 4,500 litres of air a second and giving air speeds up to 240km/h. The nozzle can be adjusted a full 360 degs from the operator seat.

Series 900 mowers can be fitted with a bi-directional sweeper to clear debris or give a light de-thatching action on turf. The 600mm diameter brush can be adjusted up to 25 degs left or right and the height changed electrically.

Other options include the Edge-Eze path edger to reduce manual finishing in parks and golf courses, and the 1.52m Aera-Vator with 83mm-long solid tines to create 65 holes per square metre.
