Aerators are now available as part of a new range of attachments for the Grasshopper out-front mowers distributed in the UK by Ruston's Engineering.

The PTO-driven AERAvator has solid forged-steel tines that vibrate rapidly as they penetrate the ground, so the areas around the holes are fractured, relieving compaction and opening up the soil.  The design of the tines and their heavy-duty construction is intended to cope with dry, compacted grass areas without previous irrigation.

The machines have a 1.5m working width and can be used with the 700 and 900 series Grasshopper zero-turn mowers.

A quick-release system provides an easy change from mower deck to attachment.
