Grant Associates has joined a government drive which aims to help UK creative companies win high value contracts overseas.

The Bath-based landscape architect firm which won four awards at last month's Landscape Institute Awards, including The College of Fellows Award for Climate Change Adaptation for Gardens by the Bay in Singapore (pictured) is now a member of a taskforce of the UK’s top 100 creative sector small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).

The taskforce hopes to win £500 million worth of high value overseas contracts in the next three years.

The initiative is part of a government plan to get 100,000 more UK businesses exporting. Grant Associates is the only landscape architecture practice on the taskforce.

Other companies include Zaha Hadid Architects, The British Museum, Heatherwick Studio, priestmangoode, AKQA, FutureBrand, Mother, ES Global, factorydesign, Populous and the V&A.

They span the transport, healthcare, retail, cultural developments and global sports sectors.
