Gardman to use McLoughlins to distribute in Ireland

Gardman has appointed McLouglins as its distributor in the Republic of Ireland.

The new arrangement will see McLoughlins taking responsibility for the sales, marketing and distribution of the Gardman range.

Groundforce of Dublin is currently listed as Gardman's distributor on the garden centre wholesaler's website.

Gardman UK managing director Tim Stainton: "We are delighted that McLoughlins will be representing Gardman in Ireland.

"McLoughlins is the perfect partner to drive category growth through our range of promotions, new products and total category solutions. We are looking forward to building the business together."

McLoughlins managing director Kieran McLoughlin said: "The Gardman range fits perfectly into our portfolio of brands and we are excited about the prospects of bringing the range, together with the category managed approach and unique merchandising to the market in Ireland.

"The teams in both companies are already planning for the coming season with great expectations."

The team from McLoughlins will be with Gardman at Glee (17 – 19 September, NEC, Birmingham) on stand 5B30-C31.
