Gardman poppy beats £200,000 fundraising target for Remembrance Sunday

Gardman has continued to do to support the Armed Forces charity around Remembrance Day.

On fo this year's most successful garden centre products, the Gardman poppy bird feeder has already achieved its target to raise £200,000 to help support Armed Forces veterans past and present.

The ultimate aim of this campaign is to help the Royal British Legion continue the work it does to support its beneficiaries. Gardman has therefore donated over £2,500 worth of Poppy Bird Feeding care kits to six The Royal British Legion care homes and break-centre services across the country. These kits have been well received by the services, especially their dementia care services where support staff have said that bird feeding has become an important part of the beneficiaries’ daily routines.

Gardman staff recently visited one of the care homes, Galanos House in Warwickshire, to meet the care staff and beneficiaries and see the donated kits being used.
