As a UK Trade & Investment Trade Challenge Partner, the Gardenex export federation was appointed as organiser of the British group of exhibitors at the NHS, which takes place between 4 and 6 May in Las Vegas.

Uk exhibitors include Wildlife World, Briers, Hugmug, Strata Products and Typhoon Homewares.

This year is the 20th time that the federation has taken a British exhibitor group to the North American garden and hardware show. Many of the UK exhibitors will be receiving cash grants secured by Gardenex under the UKTI Trade Show Access Programme agreement.

Twelve UK suppliers of garden and leisure products will be exhibiting their latest products in the British pavilion and other companies in the group will have stands elsewhere in the hall.

The UK garden and leisure industry will also be represented on a British information stand, organised and manned by the Gardenex team.

Gardenex director general Amanda Sizer Barrett said: "The appointment of the Federation to manage the British group pavilion and funding on behalf of UK Trade & Investment at the NHS and other major international garden and petcare trade exhibitions in 2016 is testimony to our 50 years of experience in providing effective export help to British firms.

"The UKTI decision recognises that the Federation has demonstrated the ability to apply best practice in all aspects of planning, implementation, organisation, promotion and procedures for shows such the NHS. It also underlines our ability to provide valuable guidance to exhibitors, based on our unique experience and understanding of exports and trade show participation. The Federation has secured a similar arrangement for UK companies that wish to exhibit at spoga+gafa in Cologne in September 2016 and at the world’s largest petcare trade exhibition, Interzoo in Nuremberg in May 2016."

The date of the next ‘Meet the Buyers’ event is on 8 June 2016 and it will be held at the Federation’s offices in Brasted, Kent, and a leading German mail order company has confirmed attendance.
