Aided by near perfect weather across the RHS’ shows this year – with the exception of part of the Malvern spring event – visitor numbers have been strong throughout, with records broken at Cardiff and an earlier than usual sell out at Chelsea.
RHS shows director Stephen Bennett said: "From our point of view we were pleased with the visitor volumes and the exhibitors we look after all had a good show so it has turned out really well for us.
"I think the numbers have help up really well at Gardeners’ World Live and it’s comparable to some of the best years that that show has had so its definitely a good result."
The Gardeners' World Live numbers are marginally up on 2009 when they reached 104,052.
The 2010 figures are subject to audit which will take place within six months, according to a BBC Haymarket exhibitions spokesperson.
