According to a new report by AMA Research, the internet garden products distribution market is now worth £300m at retail prices.

The report states: "The internet has removed barriers to entry previously enjoyed by traditional store-based retailers and other suppliers, which has allowed small and medium sized specialist e-tailers to enter the market, creating a new competitive dynamic.

"By 2018, we estimate that the internet garden products market will account for an estimated 15 per cent of the total garden products distribution market."

‘Internet Garden Market Report – UK 2014-2018 Analysis’, says the market could be worth £744m by 2018.
