There could be 20 Cat Protection hubs by February 2017.
Newnham Court in Maidstone, Kent, installed the first Cat Protection hub as an internal concession.
The next one to open will be at Blackdown Garden Centre, Taunton.
Cats Protection is the largest feline welfare charity in the UK. They focus on re-homing cats that have been abandoned or neglected. They prepare the cats for re-homing in one of their 32 adoption centres. At any one time they have around 7,000 cats ready and fully prepared to go to a new home where they can be cared for. To allow people to see the cats before they decided to take one home they need a place to show them off. The charity sees garden centres as a good place for this.
