Deepdale is developing its garden centre side and using Kadai fire bowls for the beer-and-burger promotion.
The centre is putting in 20,000 plants it what will be a 4,500sq m garden centre.
It also has a new café and sells equestrian, hardware, country wear, wild bird, smallholding and pet food.
Garden centre consultant Doug Stewart is behind the beer-and-burger idea. The store’s owner is Bill Faulding.
Stewart said many retailers run Mothering Sunday promotions but few do as much on Father’s Day. He pointed out that the price of a barrel of beer is around £70 so the cost of the promotion would not be too high.
