Four Oaks Trade Show Preview - A stunning line-up

The biggest, most comprehensive event for ornamental horticulture professionals is about to begin.

Welcome to our preview of this year's Four Oaks Trade Show, which takes place on Tuesday and Wednesday next week (3-4 September) at the 9.3ha nursery site in Cheshire's Lower Withington.

The Four Oaks Trade Show remains, by a long margin, the largest, most comprehensive event in the UK for everyone involved in the garden industry - from growers and garden retail buyers to garden landscapers and designers.

Horticulture Week is proud once again to be the official media partner to the event, which is a highlight of the garden industry year. To whet your appetite, over the next 20 pages we present a preview of the stunning line-up of plants, products and services being launched and showcased at this year's show.

Don't forget to take a little time out to join leadership and development expert Judy Oliver from the Horticultural Training Company, who will be leading some brilliant bite-sized training sessions - completely free of charge - throughout the second day of the show, Wednesday at 10am, 12pm and 2pm.

The sessions will challenge attendees to consider whether everyone in their business understands and shares their vision for the future, how well their managers operate as a team, whether they have the right people in the right jobs and whether they are delivering the right products to the right customers - and what happens if they don't get these things right? As Judy says, it could turn out to be the best investment of 40 minutes you ever make.

Always a highlight are the Four Oaks Trade Show Awards, hosted by HW.

This year's judging panel, which includes Iain Wylie of the Garden Centre Association, Abi Rayment of Dove Associates, Tim Edwards of Boningale Nurseries and Mike Easom of Buckingham Nurseries & Garden Centre, will work hard to assess the hundreds of entries for the new plants and products awards and pick out the best stands at the show. Winners will be announced at a special event hosted by HW at the showground.

In the meantime, we look forward to welcoming you at our stand, E45.
