Former garden centre to go for housing

Culcheth Garden Centre near Warrington has been closed for some years and is now to be built on.

The site will have two three-bed and eight two-bed houses built on it after Warrington Borough Council approved the plans. Glazebury Parish Council was against the development.

Several other vacant and trading garden centres have plans for housing on site, including at Tickenham, Shiplake and Fordham.
