Football manager helps Garden Releaf

Southend FC boss Phil Brown made a guest appearance at Alton Garden Centre director Andy Bunker's 24-hour Plantathon in aid of Garden Releaf/Greenfingers today.

Bunker, whose son is trialling for the team, was one of several garden centre bosses who planted for 24 hours.

Squire's Dennis Espley, Blue Diamond's Alan Roper, Hillview Group and Releaf founder Boyd Douglas Davies 

Andy McIndoe and Andrew Gill also joined in.

A Garden Releaf walk also took places as well as dozens of events at garden centres nationwide.
