Flood-hit garden centre re-opens

A Lancashire Garden Centre that was flooded on Boxing Day has re-opened.

Read Garden Centre in Burnley re-opened at the weekend after £50,000 of stock was hit by floods on 26 December.

The Procter family bought the centre two years ago.

Steven Procter said: "We're getting there slowly - it's been a big clean-up. We lost quite a bit of stoock but we're back open now and we're trying to get everything back into its place and see what's lost."

Greenhouses and the centre's cafe were damaged.
