Fiskars aims at children and 'ProSumers' at Glee with new garden ranges

Fiskars is launching children's gardening range MyFirstFiskars at Glee (17-19 September Birmingham NEC).

The garden tools company is also showcasing SmartFit "high functioning secateurs with ergonomic features".

Quantum is Fiskars new flagship range of one pruner, four loppers and one hedge shear aimed at the ‘ProSumer'.

In the gardening sector, it is estimated that ProSumer's make up about 20 per cent of the market, the company adds.

The handles of all the tools are made from aluminium alloy. The grip is of cork. The blade is fully adjustable. The shape of the handle is designed for different grips used in different types of cutting. The shape of the pivot area is new. The pruners also have a cutting capacity of up to 26mm.
