Fire-hit Cardiff Blooms Garden Centre could re-open in 2015

Wyevale Garden Centres-owned Cardiff Blooms Garden Centre could re-open in August 2015 after burning down in November 2013 - but plans are still under negotiation.

A Wyevale Garden Centres representative said: "Cardiff Blooms is still closed due to a fire last year. It’s under negotiation and if it is to go ahead it will re-open in mid to late 2015. It will be potentially rebuilt but it’s still under negotiation."

Sources suggested the centre is due to re-open in August 2015 after rebuilding.

Meanwhile, Wyevale Garden Centres is set to buy a Midlands garden centre and at least one other this month.

The group most recently bought Moreton Park Garden Centre near Wrexham.

Manager Alyson Haywood is to stay with Wyevale Garden Centres but Claire Binns is leaving to become marketing manager of Coronation Street The Tour.
