The farm owners had previously withdrawn their appeal against South Cambridgeshire District Council's refusal of planning consent for a garden centre after the site changed from a proposed World War One museum that had been part of the original planning application.
The new application is to redevelop an existing garden centre to provide a new building as well as outdoor sales and storage areas. It also includes the establishment of orchards and tree and plant nurseries, the creation of a balancing lake, access and parking alterations and associated ancillary activities.
A council representative said: "This is a re-application after a proposed World War One museum moved to a different site. It's only for a garden centre now and is in its early stages. We're still consulting. If approved, they will need to submit a full application at a later date."
