This new 5ha site is now home to purpose-built warehouse and office complex close to their former premises in Littlehampton.
Managing director Jim McAlpine said: "We are very excited to expand to a new, larger modern facility. The move will improve our customer service and support our continued growth and development of new products. This is a significant investment from our shareholders in supporting the ongoing success of the business. There is an increasing demand for our bespoke distribution services from growers and these facilities will allow us to meet that demand.
"We were able to retain our existing staff which was crucial in keeping the business on a strong footing."
Fargro is a owned by its 315 shareholders, most of whom are growers. In the past six years, turnover has increased from £15million to £20 million.
The business stocks more than 3,000 product lines, including chemicals ,substrates, fertilisers, plastics, added value goods and offers technical advice services nationally.
Fargro are also continuing to expand their sales and services into Europe.
