Exhibition to showcase future stars of garden design

Students to reveal future garden designs.

The next generation of garden designers will show off their work this month and give blow-by-blow accounts of the creative process. Myerscough College students will explain their projects to the public and industry figures at the Garden Design Exhibition, while teachers will offer advice on garden design issues. The event features the coursework of students who complete foundation degree or BA garden design courses this year. Simon Norris, who graduated last year, has gone on to win gold medals at Tatton and Southport. Lecturer Jonathan Maude, who won a certificate of merit at Chelsea last year, will be on hand to demystify the art of design. The Myerscough Garden Design Exhibition takes place on 12-13 May. For details contact tutor John Smyth on 01995 642279.
