Exclusive stay in Italian villa to be auctioned at January's Party for Perennial fundraiser

A stay for six people in a beautiful villa in Puglia, Italy set within private grounds with a swimming pool and views across olive, fig and apricot groves, features among a stellar line up of items to be auctioned in January's fundraising Party for Perennial.

Hosted by James Alexander-Sinclair at The Barbican on 19 January, the Party for Perennial has established itself as a highlight in the horticulture industry calendar.

Tickets to the event cost £55 each (£100 for a pair) and are now available.

The 2016 event raised over £30,000 for Perennial, the only charity in the UK dedicated to helping all horticulturists and their families in times of crisis.

The popular auction and raffle, which will again be presided over by Andrew Fisher-Tomlin, is already looking fabulous, with more lots and prizes still to come in. In addition to the holiday, also on offer is a triple supercar day and a high-speed helicopter ride.

Chris Crooker, Events Manager at Perennial says: "As in previous years, there will be something for everyone on offer in our auction and raffle – we have a luxury exotic holiday in the pipeline as well as loads of weekend breaks, meals for two and several horticultural themed prizes. Last year our auction alone raised over £10,000 so we have high hopes for 2017."

The 2017 event is sponsored by CED Stone Group, Bulldog Tools, the HTA, Bulrush, The Landscape Show and Sodexo Horticultural Services, and is supported by media partner Horticulture Week.

The full list of auction and raffle prizes will be released in January.

All funds raised at the Party for Perennial will help the charity support all UK horticulturists, retired and of working age, and their families, who come to Perennial for help. As the only charity that helps individuals from all sectors of the horticulture industry, Perennial’s services are a real lifeline for those in need.
