Everris feed formulation launches aimed at fruit growers

Everris has signalled a push into the fruit-growing market with the launch at Fruit Focus of a range of products.

These include Nutrivant, an environmentally-friendly foliar feed containing an adjuvant that helps nutrients penetrate, and the fertigation feed Agrolution that corrects the pH of water and substrate.

Agroblen, a controlled-release fertiliser, was also launched. It uses two separate coatings to supply nutrition from three-to-four to 12-14 months.

New formulations of Everris' growing media brands Levington, Humax and Shamrock now include premium-grade coir. This is the result of investment in its Dumfriesshire processing plant that the company says guarantees particle size without lumps or stones.

UK business director Stephen Squires said: "Now UK and Irish growers can access these, together with other precision nutrient and growing media mixes tailored to the specific needs of fruit crops."

Everris already supplies propagators such as Premier Plant Producers of East Yorkshire and Dutch strawberry plant supplier Genson.
