A unique opportunity to examine the UK’s strategic response to flood events, case studies of coordinated, effective emergency response and practical means to ensuring future resilience of local infrastructure. 

Speakers will include Steve Berry OBE from the Department of Transport regarding their support and response to flood risk, Daniel Johns from the Committee on Climate Change will present their Evidence Report containing the UK Climate Change Risk Assessment 2017, APSE CEO Paul O’Brien, will explore the role of Local Government in ensuring stewardship of place, and colleagues fromBristol City Council, South Gloucestershire Council, Bradford City Council and Calderdale Council will look at how we can protect local infrastructure, and present local case studies.
