Europlants attracts 500 buyers at open day

Europlants beat storm Doris to attract 500 buyers from the retail and landscape industries to its annual open days.

The two-day industry event is hosted by Europlants' owner Renato Canale and his team.

Customers were able to view plants at the nursery, including Vanucci’s new shaved Chamerops Excelsa plants. On offer over the two days were the new 'Jackpot' specimen plant offers as well as the trolley deals and other opportunites available during the event. The nursery has run several trips for buyers to Vanucci in Italy this year and says sales are buoyant despite exchange rate changes.
Europlants started business 26 years in a small greenhouse on the current site in Hertfordshire.
Presenter of ITV’s Love Your Garden, David Domoney, raised a £2,800 for Perennial with an auction.
