Taylor, who is one of Ernest Doe’s Professional Groundcare apprentices, was selected from over 120 students who are undertaking apprenticeships at the college.

He has supported franchises such as Ransomes Jacobsen and New Holland compact tractors at the Ernest Doe branch in Fulbourn, Cambridgeshire.

Ernest Doe service director Angus Doe said: "This proves yet again the merits of apprenticeships; Liam has had comprehensive tuition not only at college, but also on the job; where he has been mentored by the experienced service team at Fulbourn. We are very proud of what Liam has achieved, and we have presented him with our own reward to add to the college silverware that he has already received."

Ernest Doe is now recruiting for apprentices for its 2015 intake and has 17 places available.
