Elsner Pac continues to expand its genetics of bedding and basket plants

Elsner pac Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH of Dresden continue to expand their breeding programmes in species that are suitable for bedding and basket performance.
 
Traditionally their main genetic work has centred around pelargoniums but for 2013/2014 production and sales they will introduce their first variety of Laurentia.
 
On their stand D8/D9 they will have some of the new items.
 
Laurentia PAC Shooting Star Blue is early flowering, very floriferous and has a long flowering period, The enchanting star-shaped flowers cover compact mounding plants which are also very heat tolerant.
 
New introductions from their pelargonium breeding include:-
 
PAC Candy Flowers White, a pure white flowered variety of the popular PAC Candy Flowers Series interspecific hybrid series.
 
New ivy leaf pelargoniums include PAC Mary with semi double merlot red flowers and  PAC Sally with deep a deep velvet red semi double flowers.  PAC Happy Face Purple Red Improved is the new single flowered introduction.
 
Elsner hope also  will also to display some new genetics from another international German breeder Westhoff including new varieties of their Estrella series of verbena Hurricane Pink and Vampire Red along with new varieties of petunia, lobelia, and calibrachoa.
 
The PAC stand D8/9 is in combination with the stand D 10/11 of Eagle Plants Limited who are now the selling agent for all their products.
