Electric van

A compact electric panel van, the mia U from ePower Trucks provides a cargo volume of 1.5cu m and a 365kg payload. It has a 100km (62-mile) range, top speed of 100kmph (62mph) and qualifies for an £8,000 Plug-in Van Grant.

Designed for urban transport and delivery applications, it measures 3.2x1.64m and has a tight turning circle to negotiate narrow streets. It is a single seater, although a passenger seat can be added as an option.

The 12kWh battery pack can be charged in five hours and it costs less than 1p per km in "fuel". The vehicle is compatible with standard EU charging points. The batteries come with a three-year or 50,000km warranty.
