Eden Halls greenhouse wins at GIMAs

The new range of greenhouses launched by Eden Halls Greenhouses under the Eden brand, which represents "the first significant redesign of the traditional aluminium greenhouse for more than 20 years" was declared Best New Product at the GIMA Awards on 16 July.

The range features a series of technical developments including the patent pending, Eden Zero Threshold Sliding Door System, which offers users 'no trip' access. Other innovations include increased volume of air from the high eaves, high capacity 80mm wide gutters, a glazing clip and gutter design to minimise internal condensation and an accessory channel in the roof ridge bar, designed to accommodate hanging baskets and shading within the structure.

Eden Halls marketing manager Pete Monahan said: "This is a terrific result for the new Eden Zero Threshold™ range and follows on from a similar accolade at the Gardenia Garden and Landscape Fair in Poznan, Poland. Such home and international market regognition is not only great news for the company but also proves that even a very traditional product like an aluminium greenhouse can be transformed by the intelligent application of the latest technology."

Eden Halls Greenhouses also received the Gardenex Export Achievment Award at the ceremony. This award recognises excellence in export sales of UK products.

The new Eden range comprises four new designs – Birdlip, Burford, Blockley and Bourton. RRPs start at circa £379 including VAT and home delivery for the Birdlip. The company is part of the Juliana Group.
