Eden Greenhouses launches ventilation accessories for Zero Threshold range

Following the launch of its Zero Threshold range, Eden Greenhouses has added a specially designed selection of ventilation accessories as optional extras or for retro-fit.

Zero Threshold, which has recently won best new product at the GIMA Awards, features the Eden Zero Threshold Sliding Door System, which offers users ‘no trip’ access - particularly helpful for wheelchair users and for anyone using a wheelbarrow or trolley.

The new ventilation accessories include automatic roof vent openers, a six blade louvre vent and automatic louvre vent openers, all available for Eden dealers to hold in stock or for home delivery.  The automatic roof vent openers are solar powered and regulate the temperature inside the greenhouse.  They are adjustable to help create the optimum growing conditions, which is especially useful for users having to leave their greenhouse to go on holiday for example.

The six blade louvre has been designed to fit perfectly in the side of any of the four Zero Threshold greenhouses. Louvre vents increase airflow through the greenhouse, which is important for healthy plant growth and helps prevent disease.

The louvre vents are available in mill aluminium and green or black powder coated finish to perfectly match the greenhouse.  Like the roof vent openers, the automatic louvre openers are solar powered and adjustable, allowing the gardener to create an automated, custom growing environment for their chosen plants.

The Zero Threshold range offers consumers a number of additional benefits over standard aluminium greenhouses.  It increases the volume of air thanks to its high eaves providing an improved growing environment with more room for plants and people.

High capacity 80mm wide gutters increase rainwater capture, allowing for easier cleaning, leaf removal and improved rainwater run-off.  The glazing clip and gutter design minimises internal condensation drips and helps eliminate the problem of the glass turning green with algae.  There is also an accessory channel in the roof ridge bar designed to accommodate hanging baskets etc. within the structure, maximising the usage of space.
