James Taylor, managing director at Taylor Made Designs, worked with Terry Head, head of retail at Stewarts, to provide the colours to match the Stewarts logo, which has been embroidered onto all the uniforms. The staff at both garden centres have a mix and match choice of raspberry or green shirts with green sweatshirts and soft shell jackets.

Head said: "With the busy growing season upon us I wanted our staff to be totally prepared in every way. We want our staff to wear their uniform with pride and for customers to easily identify staff members with our corporate colours. The staff have all commented on the quality of the uniforms and it has made such a difference, they are totally prepared for the busy growing season."

The new uniforms are part of the continuous improvements taking place at the family-run garden centres. Stewarts Christchurch recently completely refurbished their entrance area, creating a new look and a more spacious atmosphere. At Stewarts Broomhill, they are working on a long term major refurbishment project.
