Danish growers' body charged with price fixing

The Danish Christmas Tree Growers' Association (DCTGA) has been accused of price fixing.

The Danish public prosecutor for serious economic crimes has charged the DCTGA and director Kay Ostergaard for sending price guidelines to members. The Danish Competition Authority had previously warned the DCTGA that it should stop sending them out but it allegedly continued.

The DCTGA admits compiling statistics on how much members make from growing trees, but said sending out the figures is legal.
