The tie is fastened onto the cross bar using wood screws and washers, and is then wrapped around the stem and adjusted for size. Made from black ultraviolet stabilised soft rubberised plastic, the one-piece tie protects the bark and can be adjusted when growth requires. It is suitable for small to medium-sized trees.
