Clay said the online plant seller has grown 15 per cent each year for the last four years - and has added £2m to turnover this year.
As well as selling plants via its own site, Crocus also fulfils orders for Waitrose, the RHS and the Daily Telegraph.
Clay said Waitrose continues to seek "expediential growth".
