Quadron Services is now responsible for maintaining 69 Green Flag sites, including five new wins for 2015.

Four of the new awards were in the London Borough of Southwark, a longstanding Quadron client. With King’s Stairs Gardens, Nunhead Green, Salisbury Row Park and Goose Green & Playground bringing Southwark's Green Flag total to 23, the borough now boasts the second highest number of Green Flag spaces of any local authority in England.

Other Green Flag-flying parks maintained by Quadron include those in the Royal Boroughs of Kensington & Chelsea and Kingston upon Thames, Croydon Council, Wandsworth Borough Council, Charnwood Borough Council, Wycombe District Council, Teignbridge District Council, Birmingham City Council, and the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham.

Grounds maintenance firm John O’Conner achieved 31 Green Flags in the recent awards, including Clarence Park in St Albans which received its 10th consecutive Green Flag.

As part of the partnership between John O’Conner and St Albans City and District Council, the firm manages the
submission process for the Council’s Green Flag Awards from application to judging stage. They also achieved an award for Hatfield Road Cemetery and a Heritage Award for Verulamium Park for the first time.

John O'Connor's other Green Flag awards were in parks belonging to Aylesbury Vale, East Herts, North Herts, Harpenden, and Welwyn Borough district councils, Hertsmere Borough Council, Leicester County Council, and Alexandra Park and Palace.
