Inscapes is the new name for Turfgrass Enterprises, which has worked on such hallowed turf as Chelsea FC's Stamford Bridge, the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff and Celtic Manor hotel and golf course, set in 1,400ha of parkland near Newport.
"We wanted to hit our target sectors more effectively," said finance controller Alan Haddrill. "These are landscapes from large commercial developments to smaller private spaces, sports pitches and environmental reconstruction."
The 35-staff firm based in Bridgend and Swansea, South Wales, tackles design, construction and maintenance for hard and soft landscapes. Clients include blue-chip companies, developers and local authorities.
Managing director Garry Lewis and his team recently headed a huge environmental conservation project for the 316km South Wales Gas Pipeline Programme, the largest project of its kind in the UK.
