Compact & Bale to back Garden Retail Awards 2008

Compact & Bale is the latest firm to sign up to sponsor the Garden Retail Awards 2008.

The company will support the Best Environmental Policy award. Compact & Bale is a market leader in the supply of waste and recycling equipment for hospitals, shopping centres and government departments with compacting, baling, recycling machines and back-up.

Sales and marketing manager Dan Windibank said: "We want garden centres to reduce their carbon footprint and bring in recycling strategies that will make them more profitable.

"Many companies don't know the regulations about their waste."

Other sponsors currently include the HTA, Westland, Quinton Edwards and Greenfield Software.
