Clipless turf regulator

In response to pressures on greenkeeping teams - especially during tournament preparation - and the need to encourage dense turf growth while reducing mowing frequency, Headland Amenity has introduced its Clipless turf growth regulator.

Suitable for use on all areas of turf, Clipless contains 120g/litre trinexapac-ethyl and works by blocking the production of gibberellic acid in the plant leaf, stopping cell elongation and upward growth. Energy is diverted towards lateral growth and root development, providing a closer, denser sward.

Applications can begin from mid April on outfield or course turf and mid-late May on fine turf, continuing through to the end August or early September. A maximum of 16 litres per hectare can be applied in any one year. The product can be tank-mixed with Xtend Soluble Iron on outfield turf and N-Sure 28-0-0 + Seamac Proturf on fine turf.
