CityFort vehicles

Road legal and right-hand drive, the CityFort is a new range of eco-friendly electric vans and trucks.

The zero-emission vehicles are congestion-charge and road tax exempt, making them ideal for a tasks in and round the city and for working silently around shopping centres, parks, campuses and amenity and leisure sites.

Built on a lightweight aluminium frame, CityFort vehicles are offered with several body options to suit a diversity of uses from deliveries and grounds maintenance to waste and facilities management. Size and weight (915kg) means the vehicles can negotiate driveways and narrow streets.

They are also kind to delicate ground.

The electric asynchronous three-phase 48v engine delivers power to carry a 530kg payload and provides a maximum speed of 45kmph. The vehicles are capable of running up to 125km on a full charge, depending on the load and use, while battery recharge time is eight hours using the integral charger.

CityFort promises comfort and safety, with good all-round vision.

The suspension is from independent MacPherson struts.

Options include a three-speed heater, hydraulic lift, radio and automatic battery charger.

The distributor Electric Powered Solutions, says the CityFort can be supplied in several configurations to suit councils and contractors.
