Garden centre director Chris Francis said after changing the presentation of Christmas at the Hampshire-based garden centre group, sales have rocketed.
He said there is 25 per cent more product in store, but the sales gain was more about having a dedicated Christmas area in the firm's 12 garden centres.
He added: "We've not bought a lot more Christmas products but we have pulled it together to make it look like a bigger range. It's the first year we've done Christmas in this way."
Francis said set-up was the last two weeks of October to allow autumn sales to keep going, and that initial sales had quickly overtaken last year.
Braishfield is one of nine Hillier garden centres to be refitted so far.
