'Sound evidence' will form basis of Arboricultural Association's Approved Contractor overhaul

Be the first to comment Arboricultural Association director Nick Eden says the overwhelming response to its Approved Contractor scheme consultation will provide the body with "sound evidence" for the future.

The Arboricultural Association (AA) received its 300th response to the Approved Contractor consultation last week.

AA director Nick Eden explained: "That's more than double the number of scheme members.

"Such a large response shows the industry's awareness of the scheme and interest in it.

"It also means we can decide the scheme's future based on sound evidence from the industry at large, scheme members and others such as local authorities and other corporate employers."

The consultation remains open until 31 December.
