Groundsman advises on cruise ship lawn

Former groundsman at Lancashire County Cricket Club Peter Marron has flown from Manchester to Miami to advise on the upkeep of the first lawn on a cruise ship.
The newly built liner Celebrity Solstice, which weighs 122,000 tonnes will have a lawn covering 1,300sq m with a base of volcanic pumice. It will be used for golf and bowls, and to hold picnics.
