The IFEX/GARDEX/EXTEPO show took place on 11-13 November with 870 exhibitors, a quarter of whom were international.

Representing the UK was federation of garden and leisure manufacturers Gardenex, Hampshire Gardencraft, Hartley Botanic, Haxnicks and Smart Solar.

Ireland-based Fitzgerald Nurseries exhibited at the show for the first time. The company was showing off its Phormium cookianum 'Black Adder', Libertia x ixioides Goldfinger and Carex oshimensis ‘Everest', all of which are big sellers in the Japanese market.
