It was owned by brothers Abdul and Hanif Bharmal. Unable to find a buyer, administrator James Hopkirk of Begbies Traynor has written to creditors and is selling the assets. Brent Council has owned the site since 1954.

Abdullas Horticulture, which was trading as Carpenders Park Garden Centre and Plant Nursery of Little Oxhey Lane, Watford, went into administration on 7 January with the loss of 46 jobs.
