Eady warns on plant shortages

Overcautious growers may bring about a shortage in next season's plant supplies, according to the head of a major young plants supplier.

Delamore managing director Wayne Eady said: "With everyone being nervous about the economic outlook, there's likely to be a shortage of perennials and woody plants.
