Arboricultural Association director Nick Eden has this week been talking to the BBC about a follow-up Watchdog programme focusing on rogue tree surgeons.
The discussions follow a programme aired on 22 October, which featured an expose of rogue trader Shaun Varey, who had previously signed undertakings with Bromley Trading Standards to improve his business practices.
Eden was disappointed the Watchdog Rogue Traders show had not given viewers advice on how to employ a reputable tree surgeon.
"I have been in touch with the BBC and they are very keen to do another show in the New Year and we have got just the people for them," said Eden.
"We know of someone 10 times worse than Shaun Varey and we would like to be much more involved in the next show.
"However, it would be useful to point out not just what is wrong, but how people can make sure they do get a good service."
