The Department for Culture, Media and Sport has also listed 75 individual tombs including those of Robinson Crusoe author Daniel Defoe, poet William Blake who wrote the words of the hymn Jerusalem and Pilgrim’s Progress writer John Bunyan.
Special consent must now be given to make any adaptations to the site.
