Capel Manor boosts courses for 16 to 18-year-olds

Capel Manor College received extra funding this week to open up additional places for 16- to 18-year-old students on courses starting this September. The college offers courses on horticulture as well as on groundsmanship, garden design, floristry, arboriculture and countryside management. Chief executive Steve Dowbiggin said the courses aimed at 16- to 18-year-olds are equivalent to five GCSEs or three A Levels. The college will be holding a recruitment day on 6 September from 10am to 3pm at the Gunnersbury Park centre in Acton, London.
