The centre's Leucanthemum Aglaia display was judged the best of all entries submitted for the year's five Campaign plants.
Plantarea staff won £250 of leisure vouchers for a day or evening out of their choice.
Brykley merchandising controller Mandy McCarthy said: "The staff has enjoyed the challenge of the competition and coming up with new display themes. This campaign has helped us increase sales and heighten customer awareness of our promotions. We look forward to taking part in 2010."
The Campaign Plants promotion from the Bransford Webbs Plant Company has seen five separate plants selected over the year.
The promotions include extra large POS boards and table talkers featuring inspirational lifestyle images.
On average Campaign Plants sell five times more than regular sized promotions.
