CABE Space needs new champions

CABE Space needs new members to join its national advisory panel and help improve the quality of public space in England.

Landscape architects, urban designers, public space managers and people working in accessibility and community engagement are required to join the CABE Space enabling panel.

CABE Space's team of panel members provide direct advice and technical support to improve the planning, design and quality of public space.

CABE Space enablers provide expert assistance on a range of levels, from strategic planning to site-specific projects. This includes helping clients to develop open-space strategies and green infrastructure frameworks, alongside work on specific streets and squares.

They work with a wide variety of public sector clients, organisations and community groups through direct advice, training, workshops and seminars.

Projects have included:

Tees Valley green infrastructure strategy

Harlow Town Park

Stamford Gateway

Mersey Waterfront spatial strategy

CABE Space will be hosting an Open Day for potential applicants on 14 November at 1 Kemble Street, London.

Email for information or to book a place.

The closing date for applications is 28 November. Call 020 7070 6700.
