CABE and GreenSpace's Leaders Conference confirmed

CABE Space and GreenSpace have joined forces to run this year's Leaders Conference, the specialist parks managers' event, on 9-10 March.

The conference, which was widely thought to have been discontinued after 2010, has been cut to two days instead of four but will still offer talks, workshops and case studies on issues such as efficient parks services, funding and alternative management models.

CABE Space skills adviser Nik Thompson said: "This conference is a premium opportunity for parks and open space professionals to come together and draw on the resources available, consolidating the sector and addressing the challenges it is facing in the financial climate. We hope to arm all parks personnel with the tools to push forward in this important time."
